DOE & BANCROFT LIBRARIES

USE:

• Main libraries.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRY:

• Main entry, first floor - south side, automatic door on far left door.
• Main entry, first floor - north
• Bancroft Library - buzzer by room 295 in northeast corner of second floor of Doe will summon someone to open the door. Call ahead (if possible) at 642-2933.
• Periodical room on first floor.
• Directory - across from main entries.
• Telephone - first floor near south entry.

CIRCULATION:

Doe Library:

• Elevator by southwest entry serves floors B, 1 and 4; (34" x 65")
• Elevator in Northwest corner serves all floors, (36" x 50") - modified.
• Annex: elevator by south entry, near Campanile, leads to all floors, (45" x 72") - modified.

Bancroft Library:

• Two libraries normally used by staff only, serves levels 1-6 with levels 2-5 locked, (49" x 61") - partially modified.

REST ROOMS:

• First floor:
  • Women - Room 109, up steep ramp in southwest corner behind elevator, awkward entry - partially modified.
• Second floor:
  • Women's - Room 243, in southeast corner - modified.
  • Men's - Room 249A, in northeast corner - modified.

PROBLEMS/POINTS OF INTEREST:

• Assistance for card catalogue or stacks may be obtained from the reference or circulation desks.
