ACCESSIBLE ENTRY:
- Main entrance: east side, first floor (automatic door).
- Southwest entry: ground floor, use only for ground floor
classrooms.
- Directory: east entry next to elevators.
- Drinking fountain: ground floor near southeast entry.
- Telephone: ground floor near southeast entry. Eighth and
tenth floor, near south elevators. Third floor, near north
elevators.
CIRCULATION:
- South elevators: use east entrance on first floor, must use
key for ground floor access.
- North elevators: use north entrance on first floor, does
not go to basement.
- Elevator 3 on south side and elevator 5 on north side have
been modified.
- Microcomputer facility in the basement - see below.
REST ROOMS:
- Women: ground floor, room T2 - modified, with automatic
door.
- Men: ground floor, room T1 - modified; ninth floor -
modified.
PROBLEMS / POINTS OF INTEREST:
- Classrooms: ground floor, southwest entry.
- AMSCS Library: first floor, use east entry.
- Mezzanine: inaccessible - ask librarian for
assistance.
- Lecture hall #10: ramp starts at door and slopes to
wheelchair seating; slope exceeds code, may require assistance.
Three spaces at right rear of room.
- Lecture hall #60: one wheelchair space at right rear.
- Microcomputer facility in the basement can be reached on
evenings and weekends by elevator from the first floor using east
entry, however once in the basement a key is required to call the
elevator in order to return to the ground floor. (To obtain key -
see Evans hall building co-ordinator or Disabled Students' Program
Director.)
