Overview

The Disabled Students’ Program is recognized for its commitment to ensuring that all students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities at UC Berkeley and help students to achieve academic and personal success through its programs. DSP offers a wide range of services for students with disabilities. These services are individually designed based on an individualized assessment coordinated by your DSP Specialist. Each Auxiliary Services unit is dedicated to assisting you in implementing specific accommodations based on your disability documentation.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • CART/Real-time Captioning
  • American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Captioned Media
  • Lab Assistants
  • Note-Taking Services and Note-Taking Technologies
  • Accessible Classroom Furniture
  • Proctoring
