Rochelle Barnes earned a bachelor’s in Sociology from Pitzer College and a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of La Verne. She has been employed in higher education since 1996. Rochelle has served in many professional capacities; Assistant Vice President of Academic Support Services, Associate Dean of Students, Director of Academic Support Services and Director of Students with Disabilities. She’s now serving as the Coordinator/Academic Advisor of the DSP Trio Student Support Services.
Rochelle is the owner/creator/director of a “Suffering in Silence” women’s ministry group. She loves spending time with her children, grandchildren and cooking her favorite meals. She also enjoys traveling, dancing, relaxing on the beach, reading, watching movies and bike riding.
