Dear DSP Community,

The DSP office will be closed during the morning hours on Wednesday, August 3rd between 8am-1pm for an all-staff event. Our regular office hours will resume at 1:00pm and our drop-in hours will resume at their regular time between 1:30-4:30pm. We regret any inconvenience.

Alternative Media Center will be temporarily moving to the Hearst Field Annex A location for the next year (May 2016-May 2017). The Alt. Media Lab will be closed Friday 4/29 and Monday 5/2 for the move and will reopen at the new location on Tuesday 5/3.

Tomorrow, March 11th 2016 DSP Specialists will be unavailable for drop-in appointments from 1-3PM to attend an in-service event. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Regular drop-in hours will resume Monday, March 14th.

Please be advised of an access interruption near Barrows Hall projected from 2/15/16 through 2/19/16 for telecommunications upgrades. The project map is below. The interruption will leave sidewalks open for foot traffic, but will disrupt parking and may cause disruptions or delays.

From today, Jan. 19th, through Jan. 29th a section of commonly used pathway in central campus will be blocked for telecommunications upgrades. The pathway directly East of Wheeler Hall and across from South Hall will be blocked as a part of this project.

Hello DSP Students,

Next week our DSP Specialists will be participating in training from January 13th through January 15th as we prepare for the Spring semester. For this reason, Drop-in appointments to see specialists will not be available for those three days. Auxiliary Services staff (Note-taking, Alt. Media, Proctoring, and Campus Access) will be available, so if you need to reach them feel free to do so as usual.

DSP Closed for Winter Break

In observance of the holidays and UC Berkeley's annual energy curtailment, DSP will be closed on the afternoon of December 23, 2015 and will reopen on January 4, 2016. Staff will resume normal operations at that point. Have a wonderful break! We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
