Who We Are

DSP Scholars is a federally funded TRiO Student Support Services program dedicated to supporting undergrads with disabilities through services that cultivate a sense of belonging and develop the academic, financial, and career-readiness skills needed to thrive at Cal and beyond. We empower our scholars to exceed their potential while making UC Berkeley a more equitable and inclusive university.

What We Do

At DSP Scholars, we provide higher touch services to cultivate a supportive community at Cal. We provide students with the following support services:

  • Individualized Academic Coaching, Advising, and Goal Setting
  • Education to Improve Financial Literacy
  • Financial Aid and Scholarship Assistance
  • Graduate/Professional School and Career Counseling
  • Academic Soft Skills Training
  • Peer Academic Coaching and Peer Tutoring in select courses
  • Community Building and Cultural Events

Take Telegraph Avenue to Channing Way and make a left on Channing Way. Slottman Hall will be on the left-hand side after Bowditch Street, across from Crossroads Dining.
