Admission to UC Berkeley

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is your best resource for information about applying for admission to Berkeley if you have a disability.

If you are interested in accessibility at Berkeley, one of the best sources of information about physical access on the Berkeley campus is Disability Access & Compliance. It has maps that outline physical access to buildings on campus and the slope of campus paths, links to transportation options in the local area, information on technology access, and information on other disability-related resources.

Once you have been admitted to UC Berkeley, DSP staff will work with you to ensure needed accommodations are provided (see New Students). DSP staff does not communicate with admissions staff in any way and is not involved in admissions decisions or processes.

If you need disability accommodations in the admissions process, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
